ABOUT
An actor drawn to work with a point of view.
Reena Jolly is a Canadian actor and theatre artist of Grenadian heritage, proudly based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. A graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada, she has worked across stage, film and television, with credits including Normal, Don’t Even, Christmas on Call, and productions with Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre, Prairie Theatre Exchange, Citadel Theatre, Thousand Islands Playhouse and the Grand Theatre.
She is intentional about the projects she takes on, gravitating toward stories that feel personal, specific or genuinely fun — work that speaks to Black life and Black experiences, as well as the silly, strange and playful projects that let her stretch in a completely different direction.
Winnipeg is home, and Reena is invested in building a career from the city rather than treating it as somewhere to leave behind. She is excited by the growth of Manitoba's film community and wants to be part of the generation helping make Winnipeg an even bigger place for screen work.
